Practice Areas
Helen’s practice is concentrated in general liability, insurance defense and coverage, and premises and landlord liability. Prior to joining Ungarino and Eckert, Helen defended the State of Louisiana and municipal agencies in environmental and toxic tort litigation, medical malpractice, road and waterway hazards and premises liability. She has more than thirteen years experience as a litigator in federal and state courts throughout Louisiana. She has argued before the First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Louisiana Supreme Court and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
